Seed to Snack Summer Camp
At Seed to Snack Summer Camp kids will dig into the basics of growing their own food—from planting veggie seeds to caring for herbs. Each day is packed with hands-on garden time and tasty cooking fun, like pickling, whipping up salad dressings, and making yummy spreads. Everyone goes home with their own mini garden, plus all the plants and supplies they’ll need to keep it growing. Come get your hands dirty and your taste buds happy!
Edible Education Experience (EEE) is a nonprofit organization located in the heart of an Orlando, Florida neighborhood focused on hands-on food and garden education. It operates out of the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House & Culinary Garden, where students, teachers, and the community engage in gardening, cooking, and nutrition programs. Their goal is to teach the Central Florida community how to source, cook, and enjoy more sustainable, whole produce for personal and environmental wellness.
Lunch:
Campers should bring their own lunch water bottle each day. We’ll take a midday break to eat indoors and recharge before getting back to gardening and cooking fun.
